We’re the Fairmans — a Bay Area–based family of four who love to spend our weekends and hard-earned PTO exploring the great outdoors, discovering new places, and making memories along the way.

With a four-year-old and a two-year-old in tow, our adventures are equal parts laughter, chaos, and discovery. We’re constantly on the lookout for the next kid-friendly bike path, a hike that’s just the right length for little legs, and restaurants that don’t blink twice when we pull out a backpack full of toy cars and coloring books in pursuit of a “date night” with our entertaining (and demanding) sidekicks.

This blog is our way of sharing the trails, towns, and experiences where our family truly thrived — the moments that ended with us saying, “that was a good day.”
